Using Quick Extract to export a Gmail folder

1. Select Gmail

First select Gmail from the email source list at the left and then click on the Gmail icon

2. Login to Gmail

Enter the email and password that you use to login to Gmail and then press on “load folders” to load the Gmail folders.

Now select one or more folders that should be exported and then press ok.

3. Select Mime

Select mime from the “email targets” list to the right and click on its icon to open the dialog.

4. Select the target folder

Select the target folder where the messages are going to be stored and press ok.

5. Execute the job

You only need to press start to execute the extraction and export your Gmail messages to disk as EML files.

That’s it! your first extraction is ready to run.
